Jazeera Airways is the second national carrier for the State of Kuwait and the region's first successful privately owned airline, established in 2004. It operates scheduled services across the Middle East, India, Sri Lanka, and Europe from its main base at Kuwait International Airport (OKBK), with a low-cost model focused on affordable point-to-point travel from a dedicated terminal at the hub.
Jazeera Airways Virtual
Jazeera Airways Virtual was born in 2011, bringing Kuwait's independent low-cost carrier into the virtual skies years before GCC Virtuals' group launch. In 2021 it joined GCC Virtuals' collection of IVAO-certified Gulf airlines, giving pilots realistic short-haul and regional routes under one professional multi-airline umbrella — the same community vision of flying, teamwork, and continuous improvement that defines the wider network.
