Kuwait Airways is the main national carrier for the State of Kuwait and one of the Gulf's longest-established airlines, founded in 1954. It operates scheduled international services throughout the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America from its main base at Kuwait International Airport (OKBK). Kuwait Airways Virtual was born in 2011, inspired by the real carrier's identity and its hub at OKBK. When GCC Virtuals officially launched in mid-April 2021, Kuwait Airways Virtual joined the network as one of its certified founding virtual airlines — bringing realistic Kuwait routes, professional operations, and a dedicated home for pilots who want to fly the flag carrier within a multi-airline Gulf crew center built on teamwork, realism, creativity, and continuous improvement on IVAO and VATSIM.
