Jazeera Airways Virtual (JZR) is the non-commercial virtual flag carrier for Kuwait, inspired by real-world Jazeera Airways operations. We fly authentic schedules and branding on IVAO and VATSIM as part of GCC Virtuals — the Gulf Operations Network that has united six Gulf virtual airlines since 2021.
JAZEERA Virtual keeps Jazeera Airways branding, fleet, and routes (hub OKBK) while sharing one crew center, rank structure, ACARS workflow, and standards with Kuwait, Qatar, Emirates, Gulf Air, Jazeera, and Etihad virtual airlines in the network.
We support Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), X-Plane, and Prepar3D. Our ACARS workflow tracks and logs flights across supported simulators. Flights must be flown on IVAO and/or VATSIM.
Our primary hub is Kuwait International Airport (OKBK). The wider GCC Virtuals network also connects major Gulf airports across the region. See partner airlines for each carrier's routes.
No, online flying is not required. You can still fly and participate without being connected at all times. However, we strongly encourage flying on IVAO and/or VATSIM for greater realism, ATC interaction, and community events.
No. JAZEERA Virtual and GCC Virtuals are free to join. There are no membership fees — we are a volunteer-run community focused on realistic Gulf virtual aviation.

Submit your application at crew.gccvas.org/register with accurate pilot information and your simulator setup. When you join GCC Virtuals you join every airline in the network — including Jazeera Airways Virtual — through one Gulf Operations Network crew center with shared standards, ACARS workflow, ranks, and IVAO/VATSIM community. Applications are reviewed by staff before you receive your login details.
You need an active IVAO or VATSIM account and must meet the entry requirements listed in our Rules. Requirements may include minimum network hours, rank, and limits on membership in other virtual airlines.
Most applications are reviewed within a few business days. During busy periods it can take longer, so please avoid submitting duplicate applications.
GCC Virtuals includes Kuwait Airways Virtual (KAC), Qatar Airways Virtual (QTR), Emirates Virtual (UAE), Gulf Air Virtual (GFA), Jazeera Airways Virtual (JZR), and Etihad Airways Virtual (ETD). One registration gives you access to all of them through the Gulf Operations Network crew center. See partner airlines for routes and branding per carrier.
Hour transfer policies vary by airline and division. Check our Rules or contact staff if you have verifiable hours from another virtual airline.
We allow membership in a limited number of other virtual airlines. See our Rules for the current policy. When flying under JZR or GCC callsigns, represent the community professionally.
Yes. You need an account on at least one network to join and submit flights. Offline-only activity is not accepted.

Log into the crew center, select a valid route or approved custom option, launch ACARS, and complete your flight on IVAO or VATSIM. Submit your report after landing and shutdown according to policy.
Yes. Activity expectations depend on your division and status. Review the current thresholds and leave options in Rules.
You must fly authorized aircraft for your rank and type rating, and operate within schedules assigned to your virtual airline — including Jazeera Airways routes from OKBK. Custom or charter flights may be available through the crew center where permitted.
Through the crew center. Fly on IVAO and/or VATSIM; flights are tracked via our ACARS system. See Rules for reporting requirements.
Validators leave a reason when a report needs correction. Review the notes, fix what is required, and resubmit if allowed. Repeated invalid submissions may lead to staff review.
Rank progression is based on logged hours and compliance. As you advance, additional aircraft and operational privileges become available. See Ranks for milestones.
